Team Philosophy
Our team goal is simple and we hope that all of our players help us accomplish this goal. We insist on having a winning season. We want to win each and every game we play. Winning the game doesn't require us to be ahead on the score, but for the players to make new friends, play hard, learn new skills, increase their physical fitness, learn about being part of a team, and instill in them respect for each other, other players, coaches, parents, volunteers, and referees that they can carry with them for the rest of their lives. In the process, WE WANT THEM TO HAVE FUN! If all of these criteria are met, we will have a great winning season no matter if we lose games or not.
However, most players love to compete. Competition is a vital part of our culture, and we do not need to make apologies. To compete is to put your skills against another, try your hardest, do your best, and enjoy the opportunity to test yourself.
Follow our teams during the 2007-2008 school year.
