During Brevard County Space Week, our grade 6 students had the opportunity to visit NASA and the Kennedy Space Center to learn about space, technology, engineering, and our history.

One of the favorite activities was the engineering challenge. They had to construct a “bridge” style truss to support up to twelve pounds. They were successful in their attempt and very proud of the teamwork. Two of the students from our school were selected to display their art work entitled “Past, Present, and Future” at the center.
We are very proud of all of our sixth grade students.
